Two actions in the district court for Otter Tail county, consolidated for trial and heard together on appeal, one by William Mattfeld as special administrator of the estate of his wife, Lillian, to recover for her wrongful death arising out of a collision between his auto, in which Lillian was riding, and defendant's car, and the other action by William Mattfeld on his own behalf to recover consequential damages. The cases were tried before Byron R. Wilson, Judge, and a jury. A verdict of $9,000 was returned for plaintiff in the death case, and one of $2,442.30 for him in the individual action.
